If they look nice and believable, I say go for it!! If they scream “cheap fake flowers,” I’d go a different route, obv. But Fiance likes them, and it sounds like you like them! Bouts are small. If there’s ever an ideal place to put fakes in, that’d be it I would think. No one will likely notice!

They’re NOT cheap looking, esp. the “real touch” flowers (which can be as expensive as fresh LOL). Just don’t go w/plastic mini callas (I saw them in another art/craft store – yuck!!!) Look for them online too – just google “real touch mini calla lilly” and chekc the shopping results. I highly doubt anyone will notice the difference, and this way you’ll have a lasting keepsake of your FI’s bout. Silk flowers are a growing trend in a LOT of weddings – I’m using all real touch silks in mine! People have actually tried to smell them – that’s how real they look and feel. Your florist is totally right, By The Way, about lillies staining clothes – the stamin (center) LOVE to gravitate to and leave permanent stains on beautiful wedding gowns, etc. I’m not saying that to freak you out (even though it’s true) but to help you feel confident about your choice. Best wishes! 🙂
