Um… yeah I’d say you are a little crazy lol, but in a good way.  At least now you get to relax and just wait for the day to come.  It’s a lot better than feeling overwhelmed because you’re going to run out of time or something like that…

@LabDarling:  Your wedding is the day after ours! Congrats fellow May bride! I’d say if you can financially manage it right now, do it right now! The prices are only going to increase so book/ do everything you can –as long as you aren’t concerned about your “vision” changing.

I personally think its great, you’ll be able to relax before the wedding and focus on the small details that you may have otherwise left behind!

Keep us posted on your other planning…. have you decided on a food vendor yet, or is taht up next?

@LabDarling:  I think we’re both crazed 🙂

I have booked my: venue, officiant, photographer, DJ, and cake.  We also have our guest list, tastings done, wedding colors, my dress, his suit.  We have a pretty good idea of what we’re doing for centerpieces and bouquets, and I’ve alreayd started gathering “details.”

I also have a bunch of projects set up for me.

…And I’m getting married 2 days before you.

We’re just going to be totally relaxed right before our weddings Laughing

 The only thing I would be concerned about with your situation is changing your mind. You may not have this problem, but I can be very indesicive! But at least you’re well prepared! I am crazed right now, but my wedding is in less than 5 months! So, I guess it’s good I am. Do you have your colors picked out? I would probably change mine if I could because I cannot find ANYTHING to match the color of the bridesmaids dresses. Although, I am in love with the color… so maybe I wouldn’t. Heh heh.

We’re in the same boat! Got engaged in January, wedding is May 3, 2014, and the only major decision we have left is finding a DJ and picking bridesmaids dresses. I think it’s great to get it all done quickly! There’s no sense in agonizing over decisions, and it will hopefully make the lead up to the wedding more enjoyable : )

I have been engaged for 14 months, I wish I would have been wedding planning crazy 12 months ago. now I’m rushing to get everything done. I’m a procrastinator and work better under a pressured dead line…lol

You sound like me! I haven’t got quite that far yet…but I may or may not have gotten bored the other night and started writing out seating arrangements (obviously those will change so it wasn’t anything set or serious). I feel like a lot of prep and planning goes into this and I don’t want to miss anything!

That’s great that you have all the addresses for the guest list already! You are not nuts at all. I have venue, DJ, photographer booked, and I just had a consultation with the florist who I will be booking. There is so much that goes into planning that you will have plenty of time to get it all done by starting early.

LMAO ME TOOO… you dont stand alone my Dear. My main concern was that I wanted to get the main vendors out of the way so I wont feel overwhelmed later on when it comes to the $$$ ! If you’re crazy then I guess I’m crazy too haha. Congrats looks like we’re weekend TWINS.
