I think the wedding stress is getting to me…
I use to be really overweight, and I lost a bunch of weight since. However after losing so much weight, stuff remains, like jiggle here and there and stretch marks. I happen to have a few stretch marks under my upper arm. I am embarassed by it, and can’t do much to make it go away. Anyways, I got a sleeveless dress, even though I told myself to get a dress with sleeves. In the picture below is my dress with my veil… would a bolero be too much? I just want to feel my best.

i think you look great! I have the same worries … I think we are just too critical of ourselves. I like the tattoos!

I honestly don’t think a bolero would be too much. I think your arms look great, but what matters is how you feel.
P.S. I love the flowers on the veil!!

I think a bolero might look a little busy with that dress. Honestly? I don’t think your arms look big at all! Congratulations on your weight loss! I’ve been having some of the same concerns at you. I just decided to watch what I eat at do lots of arm exercises to tone them up a bit before the big day. You look beautiful in your dress and you will look amazing on your day!

You look gorgeous! Everyone is their own worst critic, so just know that you’ll see things the rest of us don’t. If you’re super worried, tell your photographer. They are experts at highlighting the good and hiding the things we hate.

I honestly think you look great!! If someone doesn’t look good and nothing I say will help, I don’t post on these things. You look fabulous as is, sans bolero.

Honestly, no one is going to notice the skin on your arms.

I feel you girl, I asked my mom to make me a bolero because I hate my arms after the weight loss. Everyone kept asking me to take it off but I could not do it. I hope you find something that brings you a sense of confidence on your big day.
PS.. I dont think your arms look bad at all by the way.

You look great – your arms do not look bad AT ALL! I do understand your concerns though, we all have our pet “trouble spots” that only we see a problem with. I say you don’t need a bolero but if you think you will feel self-conscious or uncomfortable without one, then i’m sure you’ll find plenty that look gorgeous with your dress 🙂

Put your arms on your hips and point your elbows slightly back. Practice in front of the mirror. Also the day of the wedding do a few push ups and use some soup cans to make them look more toned on the day. The pose works wonders on arm flab (pointing the elbows slightly back takes some of the flab out of your arms). Hope I helped!

You look fantastic! (Love your dress!) I wouldn’t worry a bit, you can’t see anything and I doubt anyone would notice. They’ll be looking at you as a whole package and they’ll think you look beautiful.

In all honesty, I only looked at your picture at first and didn’t read your post… I thought you were worried about how the tattoos on your arms were going to look in pictures, and I was going to tell you I thought the tattoos looked cool against your white dress. And then I read the post above mine and realized you weren’t worried about the tattoos.
So my point is… I didn’t even notice anything unsual about the way your arms look. And I doubt anyone else will either… they look perfectly fine and I’m sure people will be more focused on how great you look in your gorgeous dress.

I think your arms look great and I repeat what has already been said – you are your own worst critic! I know I am. I’m self-conscious about my arms as well. No amount of exercise as made them look toned despite the fact that they are very strong. There are days I go outside with a cardigan on just to cover them up because I’m self-conscious…in 100 degree weather. My SO thinks I’m crazy. But I’ve started to force myself to NOT wear anything because I know I won’t get over myself unless I force myself to.
The bolero would be very pretty but you have so many gorgeous tattoos, it would be a shame to cover your pretty arms because of something no one will notice. I honestly had to read your explanation because I just looked at the title, looked at the pic and thought “what? Is she crazy? She’s gorgeous!” 🙂

I think you look awesome! I know how you feel, I lost a lot of weight as well but my arms still kept a lot of it. I am extremely sensitive about them and am dreading my pictures because of it. I also got a sleeveless dress and am hoping I can look past it because I love my dress.

By the way, your arms look fine and you have beautiful shoulders. I just have the same worry so whatever tips I can share I will!
