I’m doing it too!!! The structure is just what I need to actually stick to it. I love the fact that nothing is off-limits, you just have to find a way to work it in. Started in April, lost about 12 pounds so far… slow and steady wins the race, right? Good luck!!

P.S. If you are on the WW message boards, feel free to PM me your username for a friend request!

@JustLove25:

Thanks! I’m online only (no meetings) so being able to post on the message boards is part of the “e-tools” subscription package. I’m pretty sure the boards are public, though, so you can still read them even if you can’t post. Lots of good info/success stories ๐Ÿ™‚ http://www.weightwatchers.com/community/mbd/index.aspx

@JustLove25: Yay!  I just started last Saturday and this was my first weigh in day… lost 6 pounds the first week!  I’ve tried other plans as well – I lost a ton on nutrisystem but gained it all back and more when I went off of it.  I guess it wasn’t realistic for the long term  =o/  WW seems a lot more do-able because I’m not having to make drastic changes and sacrifices (or at least it doesn’t feel that way).  Good luck and I’m happy to be some support if you’re having a difficult day or difficult week – lord knows I feel those days at times!!

I started last week on WW Online as well!

If you guys would like to friend me my name is “poeticdoveinla” ๐Ÿ™‚

I weigh in on Tuesdays.  I haven’t done exercise or anything this week other than housework and the usual crap.  But I haven’t had soda in a few days so I am dealing with some major headaches!

@JustLove25:

No way – I’m 5’3″ and my goal weight is 120!!! Haha! You’re well on your way to goal, congratulations! I started at 169. I agree, the more support the better.

@PoeticDoveInLA:

Good luck! I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve found that if I don’t drink soda for a while and then have one, the carbonation feels really harsh and kind of burns going down my throat. Knowing that makes soda easier to avoid! I’ll friend you ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey all… I did WW starting in February of last year and I reached my goal weight in October… lost 51 lbs! I had been struggling to lose weight since I gained it on unemployment in early 2010. I ended up thinner than ever after doing Weight Watchers. I love that it teaches you eating habits that you can use for the rest of your life, even if you don’t necessarily count points forever. I’ve basically been counting points in my head since December (I stopped officially tracking) and am lenient every once in a while, because that’s the only way to live! But I’ve maintained and am now concentrating on getting toned for my wedding next year. Best of luck to you, its a wonderful program!

Congrats on joining! I lost 50 lbs around 5 years ago and have kept it off!  I fluctuate a few lbs sometimes but as soon as I realize I’m gaining I know exactly what to do to get myself back on track, even years later.  My Fiance lost 80 lbs and three years later has kept it off.  Neither one of us tracks points anymore, but WW helped to change our midset and prepare us for a lifetime of better eating habits.
