So I just have to say it… I’ve had a wee touch of regret that I’ve ordered a fairly simple A-line silhouette gown rather than the ballgown that is just so 100% “wedding” in my brain. But haveing tried on ballgown shapes, there was no doubt that it absolutely swamped me and my beautiful, simple, lacey A-line was all kinda of amazing on me.
However that wee touch of regret has been growing today and I swear It’s because I’ve been totally obsessed with this place since I found it last night! lol. So many gorgeous, big boofy flowy floaty ball gowns that have left me questioning whether my gown is “enough”. Seriously, there’s a pretty big bent towards ball gowns amongst the bees of this board!
Then our photographer put this photo up on her facebook page and I just suddenly calmed down. I think it’s time to relax and not second guess my decision every time I see a gorgeous gown rocked by a girl with a completely different shape & height to me! lol
I swear, our photographer is a genius. She did our e-session as well, so I might just be a wee tad biased 😛 Every time I see photos like this, I want to get married tomorrow! lol

I completely relate, I bought my dress and not only did I see my dress on a lot of other brides, I started getting dress envy along with my dress regret because there are just so many beautiful dresses and I started to really second guess my decision. But at the end of the day I am happy with my choice, I keep remembering the way I felt when I had it on the first time!

@goingtotherooftopoflove: first of all, that dress is positively angelic 🙂 Lovely choice!
i have seen mine floating around on the Bee…but..mine is having quite a few customizations made to it so once it’s complete it will be “one of a kind” 🙂
bottom line: your dress is fabulous!

Don’t regret your dress because its not what everyone else has! My dream dress is super popular right now and I don’t care that everyone has it either (Divina!). Your dress will be amazing, just like that image! You’ll love it the day of when it doesn’t weigh 100 pounds and you can dance and enjoy your wedding. Ballgowns are beautiful (I would LOVE to wear one but they don’t suit me AT ALL), but there was a reason you went with an A-line, so rock it! Don’t let the boards sway your decision 🙂

I know how you feel too! I sometimes feel a little twinge of regret when I see the mermaid dresses or lace dresses on here but then I pull up the pictures from when I was trying on dresses and I remember why I picked mine. The other ones just did not fit my frame. They look gorgeous on other bees but they are not right for my body. Then, I pull up the picture of my dress and I fall in love with it all over

If it helps any, where I live, it seems that A-line are the norm. I’d love to see pics of the dress sometime!
