Morganite is pretty much mined out so it’s good stuff to have.  And beautiful, too!

I’m going to be honest since you’re asking for opinions: that stone looks very brown to me. In the stock photo it’s extremely brown, but it’s harder to tell the IRL color from your photos. Unfortunately it looks likE there’s brown color zoning from the pics you posted. Taste is subjective, but I would certainly keep looking. Morganite is supposed to be peachy pink but oftentimes it’s just peach, peachy brown, or even yellow brown. I don’t get any sense of pink from that stone.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  In the original photo, it does look very brown. However, in your photo with the flash, I definitely looks more pink. My guess is that it’s a legit morganite. If you take it in to a jeweler, they should be able to tell almost right away.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  I can’t wait to hear what you find out! My e-ring is a Morganite and I LOVE it! I agree though, it’s definitely hard to capture its true color!

Mines morganite and yea its hard to capture the color..there is such thing as brown morganite however it is extremely cheap..still a morganite though..the more saturated in pink..the more expensive the stone. The stock photo to me doesnt look good.

the personal photos look better

Id say they are more of a peach brown color, most ebayers like the one you bought yours from get the cheaper stuff..not that there is anything wrong with it..just a different color
