    I think it looks really lovely.  It just seems a bit wrong because of the photo – there is nothing else going on in the picture.  Once you add some accessories it will be gorgeous.  Don’t doubt yourself you have done really well!

    I personally don’t like it style-wise since it looks pretty generic. Also, the pleats look accidentally ironed together.

    BUT until I see it on you (and not just on the model), I won’t really know if I like it on you.

    @BefuzzledBee:  I can’t imagine you will be standing around like that much anyway on the day!!  If your photographer even takes a pic like this you can just ignore it.

    I just think there is a lot to be said for sticking within your budget and knowing your own mind.  It is too easy to get carried away with dreamy dresses particularly on airbrushed models but think back and remember how you chose this dress despite looking at lots of others.

    I do think it is bad that some bridal shops dont let you take pics but you need to remember how you felt about this dress and keep hold of that thought – it WILL be lovely when you are wearing it!

    Honestly, I think if you are already contemplating your decision you ought to call and cancel your order so you can buy one you are sure about. There are way way too many of us on here with “dress regret” to settle for a dress you are unsure of within the first 24 hours of purchasing. I do like the dress though.

    I think it looks great! Also, you can make your dress a little longer than the one on the model, so it won’t look like that

    @BefuzzledBee:  Aww I am glad I could help.  I must say I agree with you about not spending loads on the dress. I feel the same and am limiting myself to a very strict budget and that way I can justify spending a lot more money on my ring which after all I will be wearing for more than one day!

    @BefuzzledBee:  You’re welcome.

    Annnd I found a real-life bride in your dress (because I am a creeper):

    It’s a beautiful gown, and it looks as if the pleats won’t look like the stock image!
