So, today my friend took me to look at some wedding dresses at a bridal store she used to work at and besides having a lot of fun, I found this beauty!
We’re getting married in December, and now i’m one of those “crazy” women who bought a dress before she got the ring (although, having set the date and as he’s told me to start planning, i feel like we’re secretly engaged already).
It was the first of maybe 20 dresses I tried on and nothing else compared to it – the photos don’t do her justice 0 the lace is exquisite and really well-made, with sparkles and little pearl beads, satin buttons and those beautiful sleeves! Its also more a light champage colour than ivory or white, and it made me giggle like a little girl! haha
Anyway, I just wanted to share!

It was actually made by a designer that i think worked exclusively with this store – i’m in Iowa, so probably not a big name – so sadly, i can’t tell you who made it!

Thank you!!! I’m excited to wear it and can’t wait to show my SO on the day! I’m planning a kind of eclectic mix of themes for the day, but i’m hoping it’ll work out – we’re going with nautical navy and white, mixed with vintage french laces and things, so lots of peach and cream colours too.
Think Southern France.. on a boat! haha

That dress is positively enchanting, and your theme sounds so merry and romantic! Who wouldn’t
want to attend a wedding with a theme that encompasses this:
