we’re doing Montana sapphire, which is teal.
I’ve read that some men just wear their wedding bands early, as an engagement ring, and before the wedding they get it engraved with the wedding date, and then it doubles up as a wedding ring.

wow Bee, it’s beautiful- give it to him and don’t bother with any of those pesky second thought or naysayers. It’s an amazing ring designed with so much attention to detail and care. He will be thrilled!!

you are certainly on a rampage, posting nasty things thread, after thread, after thread. Do you feel better yet after all this raging? Meanwhile, people are wondering why you’re posting such awful things on their threads. Maybe you need a healthier outlet for your personal frustrations. I hope you find something that isn’t harmful to others–or to yourself, since you aren’t doing yourself any favors with this embarrassing behavior.

I love the ring. It’s a beautiful idea, it’s part of your culture and you should go for it!

My father asked for an engagement ring from my mom- a gold horseshoe with diamonds. He also had a gold band for a wedding ring. He wore both throughout life, so I didn’t realize it wasn’t the norm until I was older. We’re all American.
If diamonds threaten someone’s masculinity, they must not be very secure in it.
Give it to him! It’s beautiful.
