I bought my dress and I love it. Well I should say I love the top part. I wish the bottom had a little something extra. Does anyone have ideas on what I can do to fix the bottom of the dress or should I not mess with it. I don’t care about what I need to do to alter it to make it better or the cost. Let me know what you think. You wont hurt my feelings :). Oh By The Way I am really sunburnt and this picture is not very good. Thanks!

@mystery00girl00: What kind of embellishment did you have in mind? Adding some type of trim to the hem? Some crystals, bling, etc?
Also, you might think about, rather than changing the dress itself, see about pairing the right complements with it. If you haven’t bought a veil yet, maybe you could look at longish veils with some detailing (crystals, beading, etc. – lace might not be the best for this gown) down on the bottom. The simplicity of the skirt would make the veil detailing stand out.

First of all you look amazing in that dress!!
Personally, I would just buy a great pair of shoes with a bit of bling and maybe add a crinoline under your dress to make it a bit more poofy.

I would suggest a fuller petticoat or crinoline which will make the skirt hang really nicely. If you really arent concerned about cost I would look into a beaded embellisment along the bottom hem. It would tie in the sparkle of the top with the skirt nicely. Its a gorgeous dress as is though and you look great in it.

The only thing I can think of its perhaps some trim along the bottom

@mystery00girl00: I wouldn’t touch it at all. The top and bottom of your dress look beautiful together and are the right balance for each other in my opinion. I would see what a crinoline underneath would look like, and as others said think about an embellished veil. It looks great!
