LICBride2Be:  Also every picture my mom took of me in any dress is terrible. Lol. I think it’s a rule that they have to be from the back, at an unflattering angle, and making a weird face. Haha.

LICBride2Be:  I think you just have to remember that the wedding dress is one part of the overall wedding look – when you have the veil, the make-up, the hair and the accessories, I’m sure you will be blown away by how stunning you look

And as the other PPs have said, the simpler the dress, the greater the choice for jewellery and hair accessories. I’m a little jealous cause I’ve had my choices quite limited because of my dress. And there is still the alterations – great tailoring and adjustments here and there work wonders.

I think the dress is incredibly elegant and like other bees said, you have way more play with jewelery. Plus, it has a great fitted shape to it. It’s a little different I think when it’s just a simple sheath, but your dress seems to have a great fit (especially in the back) that will really show off your body. It will make you the statement. Plus the detailing on the straps is GORGEOUS and that definitely adds that wow factor to the dress. I think its the perfect balance between detail and simplicity!
