that ring from etsy is beautiful, but are you sure you want silver? it’s not the strongest metal so it might not hold up well if it’s your “forever ring”

@allyfally:  I love the ring from Etsy!  My ring is 10k white gold, and it was around $200 so there are options out there if you want something besides sterling silver!

Your stand-in set is actually really really pretty!!  Really love the etsy ring as well!  You have good taste 🙂

@allyfally:  Haha I don’t think you’re a creeper! It is from Zales, I just checked their website and it looks like they have a pretty decent selection of aquamarines in white gold for under $500!

My promise ring is silver, I got it from zales and I’m, polishing it every few days and cleaning it when I do, it’s held up just fine. Silver may be “softer” but I’d put it on par with 18k or 24k gold with how it withstands scratching and such.

I’m a dork. I got mine at helzburgs.

@allyfally:  No one’s mentioned it so I will… have you looked at Moissanite? I LOVE mine and it was $465 for a 3/4 ct in a simple solitaire setting. I don’t know if they do blue/aquamarine, but it might be worth looking into. You may also be able to buy a setting with Moissanite side stones somewhere.

Your “play” set is beautiful, though!

@allyfally:  Gotcha! I was convinced I was going to have a gap with my ring, but my stone is set high so a band actually sits flush against it.  Happy shopping and good luck with your ring search! 🙂
