I bought the dress my mom wanted. Is it hideous?

See that’s where my mind immediately went to when I saw the dress.

In the first pic you look like a 15-year-old girl about to go to her Quice. The second pic you look like a woman about to get married wink

Definitely go back and go ALONE. Honestly I was in a very similar situation where my mom kept telling me how much she liked a dress on me so I felt pressured to buy it (course this was my senior prom dress not my wedding dress lol). It’s why I’m considering not taking anyone with me shopping so I can just pick a dress ‘I’ love.

Yes it’s super hideous but you are super gorgeous and I’m so glad to hear you’ve decided to find something that you love! The second photo is very pretty on you and I’m sure most dresses would be 🙂 good luck!!

@ littlepenguin99   I just want to remind you of the dress that makes you look like royalty.  I don’t know why you’re still looking. Nothing you’ve posted here is in the same universe as this gown.

I love the back on the first dress but it does remind me of a Quincinera dress. The second one is really beautiful.

I don’t know…Her mom keeps pushing quinceanera dresses.  Maybe OP should keep her mom out of the dress picking and let her help with other things.

@ gimmepretty   The funny thing is Quinceañera dresses in my country have evolved, and basically those puffy ballgowns are seldom worn!

They sell prom and quincenera dresses there so now it all makes sense

I was about to say that looks like a quince dress. I would talk to them about it, I definitely like the second dress better.
