I’m not AA but my family is like a rainbow of races so I loooove this sentiment!  My family calls me the ‘sister from another mother’ because I’m whiter than white with hips that don’t quit, lol!

Thanks, Black women need to hear this more often. My father told me every day that I was a beautiful and intelligent black woman, and I always carried that message with me Just in case you didn’t know To ALL my Black Sisters you are Beautiful and intelligent, don’t let nobody tell you different.

The first time I got a weave…oh man…lol I was seriously his lab rat. He was so amazed you could “sew hair into your head.” He would giggle every time he felt a track.

On the opposite side of that, I love how he still calls me beautiful when my hair is nappy and in need of a relaxer.
