After a month of searching, I finally landed a full time job. Little did I know what a gongshow it would be. I’m making $10.50 per hour and my co-worker and I were hired at the same time. We had to drive 3 hours each day for training, and now that we’re at our home store, we STILL have no manager. The manager went on leave days before we were hired, and it’s been over a month now.
We’re expected to do everything. All the reports, dealing with sticky situations, everything that a manager would do, we have to do. That’s all well and good, but we’re still learning. Three days in the last week I have wound up nearly in tears thinking about how stressful this is. I want to just up and quit, but it is SO hard to find a full time job here.
I applied to two jobs today that interest me. Hopefully I can find something soon and get the heck out of there!
