I’m a big fan of folk and a bit of an old soul. When it came to choosing a wedding song, one of the first things that came to mind was “Time in a Bottle” my Jim Croce.
“If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I’d like to do
Is to save every day till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you…”
However…I can’t get this scene out of my head now every time I hear it and I know I’ll NEVER get through my first dance w/out bursting out laughing, especially since my Maid/Matron of Honor and I have so many inside jokes about this movie!!!!!

hahahaha that’s actually a beautiful song! FH and I are planning on dancing to Elton John’s Can You Feel The Love Tonight, despite it obviously being for The Lion King. We frequently used to sit down at his piano and he would play it and we would both sing it, so it’s special to us outside of its Disney association.

@Ellyson: We chose something else that suited us even better in the end. But OMG, that movie killed me and so does anything with Mr. Chow!!!
“Chow not good looking enough for woman?” HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

You can still use it 🙂 Just bury you face into your Husband’s shoulder everytime you feel a laugh coming on 🙂
I would love to use Glory of Love by Peter Cetera from Karate Kid but it was a song my aunt had with her first boyfriend back in the 80s. :p
