Well, I am a Lane Bryant jean-wearer all the time because I am plus size AND tall.

Have you tried all the right shapes (the color things they do) or just a generic pair? If not, I can’t be much help, but once I found the right color code (blue for me) they fit like gloves…but the yellow or red don’t. I dk if this makes sense.

Other than that, I’ve never been able to wear jeans from “normal” places, so I feel your pain!!

OH – Dress Barn jeans fit my mom really well. She’s a very hour-glass shaped person. I think a 16/18 and average-ish height.

@AmeliaBedelia: I was loving LB when they had the colors but they stopped using them and reverted back to the regular sizes again (atleast in the stores by me). I was so bummed. The yellow fit me PERFECT. I’ve always had such a hard time with pants in general. If they fit in the waist, they were huge in the legs and vice versa. Such a P.I.T.A!

I wish I could help you to. I love Avenue Jeans especially their old line called Divine Denim. I also have the Lane Bryant ones too. But seriously ask them to fit you in the color shapes at Lane Bryant. They have different silhouttes now and that has been maybe for the past 2 or 3 years. But good luck!

@xshellx2003: I pretty much get my jeans from LB even though they rarely fit well. I do have one pair from Fashion Bug that fit awesome but the fly would never stay up. Go figure, once I find a pair that looks good, I can’t wear them without feeling a breeze.

I like Targets jeans (plus size) for a strechy jean. But I just got a pair of Levis from Dillards and LOVE them.

Have you tried oldnavy.com? They sell up to a 30 on-line and will take back any return for free! I have lost weight, but was a 26. I have worn them all they way through all my weight loss (now 14) and have loved them at every size 🙂

Side note – I had a pair of jean that I loved but the zipper wouldn’t stay up so I attached a key chain ring on the little hole on the top of the zipper pull and would put it over the button and when I buttoned the pants up it would hold it in place. If that makes sense.

Do you live near a Deb?  When I wore plus sized clothes, that’s where I got all of my jeans.

Mind you, it’s a junior’s shop, but they have some pretty nice things.

I wear Lane Bryant right fit jeans (I am a red). They still don’t fit quite right b/c I have big thighs and a big butt but no hips…but they are much closer than most jeans.

If you have an Ashley Stewart near you, you may want to try their jeggings. I have a few pair and they are stylish and comfy.

You can also try Hydraulic Jeans they sell them at Macy’s and other places. Google them. I’m a size 18/20 and they fit me really well. They are midrise so they don’t give you a muffin top. I also really like Z. Cavaricci jeans and Silver jeans. Hope This Helps
