Ok I am finding that I am starting to freak out over everything. Makeup, hair, dresses, shoes…you name it I am. As you can probably tell from all my post I’ve been obssessing for the last week. I literally am about to fall asleep at my computer but I’ve got another box open googling wedding makeup pictures because I have to find the perfect picture right now…insane I know…help! How do I stop this because it only seem to be being worse as the wedding gets here.

I can’t quite remember the quote but it’s something like this:
Don’t let the process get bigger than what the final product is intended to be.
ex: If I spend hours worrying, changing, fixing, redoing, starting over and stressing about programs….well the programs are only going to be used for one hour of the whole wedding day! Why let the process get so much bigger and out of control.
Anyway, it helps me put things in perspective when I start to freak out.
In the end, the most important part….I will repeat …the most important part is saying “I do”. Everything else takes a back seat.
Good luck,….try not to stress.

I found it! I am not kidding when I tell you I spent 15 minutes looking for it before I finally gave up and paraphrased…..and then…
Well, I was looking at past blogs and I found it! …I found it HERE on Weddingbee! Ha! My interpretation was a little different but a bit the same.
Words to Plan By
It’s by Mrs. Yorkie who’s quoting Darling Dexter. Here it is.
“Don’t let the details become bigger than the purpose.”
Good luck …and once you read her thread you’ll see, you’re NOT alone!

Thank you sooo much for that !!! Really I was in super freak out mode last night. Fiance was looking at me like I had gone insane which I probably had. I know he said something along the lines of honey it’s going to be ok We’re going to be married so nothing else matters. So sweet right and should have calmed me right, think again. The insane me…said…omg NO I have to have this and this and this to be perfect, than I cried for an hour. During which he played gamed thinking I really have gone insane….Today I see that no it doesnt. If my hair is not right..please let it be right though, it won’t kill me. because I will be getting married !!
Love the quote. I think I will print it out and tape it to myself..lol

Great advice! Being 5 weeks out now, I definately needed to read that. My guy keeps saying when ever I’m stressed, “St. Thomas, St. Thomas” which is our honeymoon destination so that usually makes me laugh and calm down-at least for a little while!

What helps me keep perspective is maintaining other interests/hobbies as I plan. I just had a completely wedding-free weekend recently, and it was glorious 🙂
