I’m 22 year old girl or should I say woman already 😉 and my fiance is 25 years old and we have been together now 2 years and 2 months. We started to talk about wedding and stuff about half year ago. It was my fiance who started the converstion one beautiful day by telling me how bad he wants to marry me and how he thinks it will happen soon. I was so happy to hear that and since that day I started waiting impatiently the coming proposal. There was v-day, my bday, all kind of beautiful days that I was thinking “this would be perfect day to get engaged” But no it didn’t happen. Sometimes I came to this forum to stalk other waiting bees and I really got a good feeling here. I am wasn’t the only waiting bee in the world and I saw how our situation wasn’t hopeless. I didn’t mention to by fiance how I was expecting him to propose already. I didn’t see any sign coming…I just trusted in my heart that it will happen when the time is right and so it did.
Yesterday evening we took an evening walk in the beach after dinner and it was a beautiful evening…My fiance started telling me all kind of sweet stuff and how he is so happy with me and before I even knew he was on his knee asking me to marry him!!
I shouted YES YES YES OF COURSE!!
I am so happy girl <3
Today was an exciting day to go to work and show off my ring for the first time and announce our engagement to all the friends and family by phone…oh this is exciting times..I am enjoying so much 🙂 It is also so delightful to see how people are so happy for us, even people who don’t know us so well 🙂
We already set the date for our marriage last night and today we booked the venue and church and our wedding is in less than half year! yey!!! 🙂
Here are some pics of the most beautiful engagment ring I have ever seen 😉 He chose the ring by himself, I didn’t even give any kind of suggestion and this ring is so much more than I even could have ever expected…
It is platinum solitaire ring with 1 ct diamond! I LOOOOVE IT !

am a horrible weddingbee now here but I feel like I need to ask this:
Are you 100% sure that the diamond in your ring is real?
It might be the quality of photo or the lightning in the room but the diamond in the picture looks more like a cubic zirconia to me by it’s colour and cut
I am very sorry to tell you this and I am horribly sorry if I was wrong. Either way I recommend you to make sure by professional that your diamond is real 🙂

@abbie017: Thank you 🙂
@Mrs.Saez: Thanks 🙂
@Sapphire-Dreamer: Thank you 🙂
@MapleMoose: Thanks 🙂
@MsMindle: Thank you 🙂 I am so fricking happy 🙂
@JustSayYes: Thank you! Well of course I can not know 100% sure that if the diamond is real because I didn’t purchase the diamond but I trust my fiance and I can not believe that he would have lie about it. I told him already longer time ago but I would be happy with a ring with a diamond or without one. It is not so important to me. I found this quite rude to comment something like you did to a person who just got engaged a day ago.
I agree that the light and the quality of the pic is maybe not the best and my camera is from my old phone so figure out 😉
I don’t believe that you would have comment something like this face to face to your friend in real life after hearing the big news, wouldn’t you? I see you come from France and I hope that they teach you some manners there as well!

NO its definitely real. Cubic puts off a ton of colored light. Her pics are in the light, so it would be throwing rainbows like crazy if it wasnt a real diamond. Congratulations, girl, and dont pay any attention to the haters. Your ring is gorgeous!

Congratulations…and your ring is gorgeous. Also, good for you, responding the way you did! It doesn’t matter if the ring is real or not–as long as you and your Fiance (yay…. you are a fiancee now!! have fun with that word!! ) love it , that is all that matters. And for what my opinion is worth, I think it’s beautiful.
