@SweetRose2011:  LOL @ the oral contraceptives.

Some people put so much info out there.  Today I saw an old high school aquaintance complain that her Husband has an x-box addiction and should spend more time with their 6 mo old daughter (mind you, they’re 20 and 21 respectively), then her friends chimed into say that she should destroy it/take it away, and then he chimed in telling them to mind their own businesses.  It was a hilarious trainwreck.

  I don’t think I have found out anything that crazy!

  I found out that my cousin got engaged via Facebook (which, By The Way, I’m in this cousin’s wedding). I hate it when people post every little detail of their illness. I’m sorry that you have the stomach flu, but I don’t need to know a timeline of events!

  I have also heard stories of women updating their statuses while in LABOR. I think you have something a little more important to focus on!

We found out that the FHs ex wife passed away on FB.  No one in the family even called us, and there are kids involved.

worst I personally witnessed was someone posting about her oopsie pregnancu PLUS  she was barely pregnant  PLUS was posting about being worried about all the partying she had done recently…I guess I shouldn’t be shocked when she followed the Twilight naming trend <gag>  (BTW, this “friend” is now hidden from me on my wall!)

@cannotwait: Wow. Just wow.

Now, this has me thinking through, trying to remember other things! I know there has to be some!

There is this girl from my church who posts EVERY LITTLE THING. She posted something about how someone did something to her and her college roommate and they were alerting the authorities and getting revenge. She also uses her statuses to tell her sister to grow up and listen to their parents. She just makes other posts that seem socially awkward to me…now I want to go try to find some!

I cannot stand when people post every detail about their life.  I really don’t care that much about what color you are currently painting your toenails, sorry.

I also don’t like when people post passive aggressive comments or things that are clearly directed at other people.  Keep the drama to yourselves, people.

By far the strangest thing I’ve ever seen on FB was a picture of a stillborn baby. One of my FB friends unfortunately lost her baby a few months ago and she posted a picture of her and her husband holding the baby as her profile picture. It was a little shocking.

I’ve also had FB friends post stuff about their periods, vaginal infections, evictions/repossessions, etc. They have all since been blocked because I can’t handle reading all of that crap.

I’ll never understand why people feel the need to post such intimate details on FB. Geez, I don’t even like reading the play by play of of everyones day. Post something interesting or nothing at all! I don’t care that your “going grocery shopping and then to my gyno appointment”! <— taken directly from todays FB feed!

ETA: Hope your grandpa is okay!

@julies1949:  I think there is a slight difference, if it’s sincere advice seeking, I totally understand plus it’s anonymous.  Perhaps I’m rationalizing b/c of my very recent Too Much Information post Embarassed

 @UpstateCait:  Yikes, that would be really tough to see and respond to regarding the stillborn.
