(Closed) I can’t decide if I should go to the doctor or not

It could be number of things. Not only amI a nurse, I myself have had 12 surgeries on things relating to my ears/nose/throat – since they are all connected, a problem in your ears can effect the other two, not to mention cause some pretty funky issues with balance and coordination. I would def go to the doctor. Could be something simple. Also, I wouldn’t put anything in your ear (esp. vinegar and alcohol) if you’re not certain of what the problem is. I had a patient who though she had swimmers ear so she put in the over the counter drops – it was actually a ruptured tympanic membrane and she experienced such intense pain she passed out from it.

Please don’t put random solutions in your ear. Going to the doctor will be a quick appointment–they’ll take a look and most likely prescribe antibiotics. Ear pain and itchiness is not normal and you most likely have an ear infection.
