I’ve changed my mind probably 50 times about the color scheme I want.
I just felt so limited with a winter wedding, like everyone was expecting white, silver and light blue. But I’m not one for pale colors.
So, I came up with navy and ivory, but I decided I didn’t really like that either.
And my latest choice seems to be deep purple, ivory, black and touches of teal.
It makes things difficult when you can’t settle on a color scheme… Ugh.
Anyone else having this trouble?

my colors are cornflower, white, and silver for a summer wedding, but I love the look of purples, greens, and black together.

My poor mom, I changed my mind about a thousand times! She was trying to come up with ideas and every time I talked to her I had changed my mind again. I finally picked some colors and thought I was sticking with them. My bridesmaids and I went one night for them to try on dresses at David’s Bridal and they didn’t have the color that I was going to use in a size that any of the girls could try on. So they just had to try on the dresses in different colors to figure out the style that they liked. There was one color that all of them tried on and I fell in love! It was David’s Bridal Oasis. My Maid/Matron of Honor wanted a bolero jacket and the only one they had for her to try on was Truffle, and when she put it on it just looked fabulous with the teal dress.
So that’s how I finally ended up with the colors teal and brown, and then my dress was ivory so all three of them are included. After that I couldn’t change my mind because the girls ordered their dresses in that color and honestly I haven’t looked back since. I am very happy with what I chose.
So maybe you should take your bridesmaids to try on dresses to really get a feel for what the colors look like.

@aubrav: So far it looks like I’m sticking with black, deep purple, teal and ivory. The more I look at the colors, the more I realize that I love them, and these colors flatter my girls better : )

I’m putting off having my girls buy their dresses beacuse I can’t decide, either. I kind of hate the thought of being tied down in terms of decor :P.

This was one of my favortie boards from Snippet and Ink. I wanted a winter wedding just to have these colors, but Fiance wanted spring or summer. She calls the colors plum, pomegranate, and platinum.
