I find looking at pictures of myself motivates me, especially if you have one of you in your dress at your current weight, then evnision what you want for your arms etc!

I also reccomend some type of pedometer. I just got a ” Fit bit” you can look it up on WB searches to see Pengy’s review, but it is supper motivating! You have a minium goal everyday of 10,000 steps, and you can arrange all different kinds of stats based on your preferences. When I am feeling unmotivated , all i have to do is look at my Fitbit and be like, dang I need to get up and get moviing! ( cause I feel bad if i don’t reach my days goal- plus it sends me messages like- get up and get going, or I lke you lol]

Make plans in advance to keep yourself out of the house…keep yourself BUSY BUSY BUSY! Idle time is dangerous to weight loss. Also try to replace your current behavior of eating which brings you comfort with some other kind of comforting activity such as taking a warm shower, soaking your feet in one of those pedicure baths, watching tv and sipping on tea or something.

well how bout keep soem dumbbells in your living room and when you think you wanna eat… do some reps with your arms.. curls, raises, tricep lifts.. or get on the floor and do chair supported sit ups.. you dont even really have to get off the couch to do it..

ALSO just go for a 15 minute run.. if you do anything either go run or walk for 15 minutes twice a day or 30 minutes once a day…

chew gum, drink water…. play on pinterest all day, just DO NOT sit and do nothing.. if you have your hands busy you wont eat..

I know how you feel! But its totally doable! Are you working out as well, or just trying to change your diet? Right now, I am doing Turbo Fire… I love it! Maybe you could try something you could do at home… and this way when you work out, you wont want to eat everything because you wont want to sabbatoge (spl) yourself. or you could put pictures up of your goal… your goal number up. ON THE FRIDGE. so you see it everytime you go for a snack. How much are you trying to lose in 2 months? I lost about 50 in 3 months with p90x. just an idea… hope it helps.

My advise to you is to start tracking everything you eat in an online food journal and to post pictures of your wedding gown on your fridge. In my experience, there is nothing that works better for losing weight than tracking your calories. And believe it or not, it actually gets easier to resist being bad after your first successful resistance episode. So the first night you are successful in avoiding ice cream before bed, the second night will be that much easier because you now know it’s possible to resist and isn’t so bad.

Also, only keep whole foods in your house, no junk. If you have healthy snacks ready to go, you’ll have no choice to eat an apple or some yogurt instead of an entire bag of chips.

@Mrs.Jansen: WATCH VIDEOS! Good documentaries do more than motivate..they educate.Fat, Sick & Dying is a good one, supersize me. etc… I think you should shift your focus from losing weight to gaining health. When you learn about all the benefits of health: clear skin, weight loss, confidence, and feeling amazing…you might gain more motivation to reach your goal. I was in your shoes exactly!! Could NOT stop eating and even had some depression…but now I feel more motivated to gain control of my health back. GOOD LUCK!
