I finally found the it!!! Well, with a few alterations that is….then it will be the one. It’s the Allure C166 but I will be removing the one strap to make it strapless. I never thought in a millions years that my dress would be a mermaid style. I’m short and curvy and thought mermaid/trumpet were for the super skinny girls. When I tried this dress on though I knew I had to have it because it was so unique. Don’t limit yourself if you’re petite or curvy ladies…your dream dress is out there 🙂

that dress is really more of a dropped waist than a mermaid… you look great in it regardless of the type of dress it is.

Wow! You are stunning in this dress–it is so playful and romantic at the same time! And you do NOT look short in it!

You look gorgeous! I totally agree, I didn’t think I could pull off a dress that was tight around my hips since I’m a girl with curves, but it really emphasized my hourglass and looked awesome! I refused to try on my dress at first because I thought it would make me self concious about the areas I already have issues with, but the consultant was right and it hugged me in the right ways! Great advice!

I love that dress on you. As a short girl, I would totally wear that dress if I weren’t built like a giant square. Totally wish I had the curves to pull a dress like that off like you do.

The bridal shop had it in their mermaid/trumpet section and I never would have picked it out for that reason. They happened to pick it and bring it into my room to try on. It’s kind of in between a dropped waist and mermaid. Here it is on the model. I never would have seen this picture and liked the dress. I tried on dress after dress and so desperately wanted to look like I had a waist…apparently I was just trying on the wrong type of dress. It pays to go outside your comfort zone sometimes!!!
