I have a regular fingertip veil with some lace detail around the edges. Like this:
I’m having a vintage, rustic barn wedding and want more of a old fashion veil. I was thinking something like this:
I thought about just getting a flower or clip to clip into the side and cutting out the comb in the veil. I would use the detailing to line the top of my head….but is this even possible? Should I just buy a new veil? I hate to waste the one I have when I only will be wearing it for a 20 min ceremony but I need thoughts. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I can’t see your other two pics.

The first link is still not working. I honestly don’t know which I would like better with your dress because I don’t know what your dress looks like.

I think this is the link she meant: http://www.sibodesigns.com/shop-2/bridal-veil-touch-of-love/
ETA: If you don’t like your veil, why’d you get it? If you want another one… get another one? I’m not really sure what you’re expecting people to say. Lots of people have “rustic” or “barn” weddings, and without knowing the little details (Or what your dress looks like) There’s really nothing we can say as opposed to, “Um, buy it?”

Well, you can adapt your current veil with a juliet cap and some gathers, or leave it, or buy a new one. I got my veil from Jasmines… it’s fantastic!

@Hyperventilate: well I bought my veil a year and a half ago so I did like it but I’m just not a big fan of my veil my veil now. My dress is strapless, fitted drop waist a line, ivory satin with bubble bottom. Has some lace peaking in and out around the bottom. Hope this helps.

Your links aren’t working to the pics of the veil you like. I do really like the one you have now but if you don’t like it and its in your budget go for the new one. You can always sell the one your have now.

this is my dress
I like these two veils a lot.
I would like to try to save money and not buy another veil. The wedding is in May so we don’t have much of a budget that’s why I’m asking for help to see if its even possible to “change ” my current veil if not I’ll look at buying another one.

- Wedding: September 2014 - Manhattan Church Rec Center
I like the veil you have already

I think your dress is already not very “rustic” so a really rustic looking veil won’t match. Just stick with what you have. Also, I can’t see the first link (still not working even in your updates) but the second one looks messy

yes I agree, your dress doesn’t really have a rustic feel to it…have you considered just a flower in your hair?
I like the sibo one you posted though, wow thats beautiful.
