After more than two months apart, my SO and I will be reuniting in 1 day, 15 hours and 8 minutes… (yes I have a countdown on my phone haha).
I’m leaving work early to hop on a plane and fly from NY to DC and then across the country to San Francisco where he’ll be waiting. We’re spending 3 long, wonderful days together and I am practically jumping out of my skin with anticipation. WHY CAN’T TODAY BE TOMORROW?!
It’s also exciting because I’m planning to move out there in 3 months to live with him in San Jose – and this will be my first time out there. I’m mucho happy to finally see the place I’m going to be calling home soon 😀
To all my other fellow LDR bees, keep your chins up!

@MissCalifornia: Have a great trip!!

I’m already getting weepy haha. I warned him that after 9+ hours of travel and all this time apart I am likely to break into ugly sobs when I see him in the airport.

YAY!! LDRs are SO worth it 🙂 Have a great time and enjoy the countdown!

@MissCalifornia: Yayyy!!! I know that feeling all too well. I recently got back from spending several days with Fiance and it was awesome being with him after 3 months apart. I hope you love your soon to be home! 3 months is the same amount of time I have until we get married and I move out where he is. It will come sooner than we think!

I am soo happy for you to have the ability to see your Fiance and spend some quality time with him. You both will just sit and stare for a few minutes after you have kissed…oooh I am getting excited for you both please give us plan by plan of your trip until you see him..
We will be your cheerleaders and support while you are on your way.

@Galang_Gyal: Aww yay! I bet you’re getting so anxious counting down to your wedding. So exciting!!
I’m sitting at work trying to concentrate and failing haha. I made him his March mix CD last night (I’ve made a different mix every month we’ve been apart, starting in December) and got everything fully packed.
Normally I’m a nervous flyer but I’m just SO EXCITED to see him that I’m not as scared as I usually am. It helps knowing the plane I’m flying on for the 6-hour bulk of my trip has TVs on the backs of every seat so I’ll be able to keep my mind off being in the air haha.
Cross your fingers that Syracuse beats Montana today in the first NCAA tournament round! SO got us tickets to see the second game on Saturday, but I so don’t want to watch a bunch of rando teams play (we’re both Syracuse alumni).

I definitely love that feeling. My husband and I are pretty much consistently in a LDR with his deployment schedule, so my heart always jumps when he says he’ll be home tomorrow/today/whatever.
I also have a countdown on my computer, so I feel you there. It helps the time pass.

@MissCalifornia: This post made me so happy!! I hope you had a fabulous time. My stomach is full of butterflies and I feel like I could run a mile right now because after 3 months, with me studying abroad in Spain, him in MA, we are meeting for a week of romance in Paris! It’s truly the best feeling in the world.
So jealous you’re moving out there for good! I can’t wait.
