LOVE the new one!!!
LOVE the new one!!!
I still love your original on you but you do look more of a princess in the new one, so beautiful and may I say whimsical. Your hair looks beautiful down, this emphasises the princess look, how will you be wearing you hair?
I just saw the post that you bought the new dress and I have to say, I like it better than the old dress! Win!
They’re both beautiful dresses; I’m just going with what I see on your face, and you look way happier – glowing, actually – in the new dress.
I LOVE the new one!!
You can still wear your original dress to the reception or the rehearsal dinner so it doesn’t go to waste. 🙂
i love, love, love the new dress!!! i’m biased though because i will be wearing this dress for my wedding this september! the dress is gorgeous and you look absolutely beautiful in it!!! i noticed some comments from others regarding the lace top…it’s comfortable and does not itch. even better, the lace overlay is removable!!! so, you get two dresses in one…covering the shoulders for the ceremony and a sweatheart strapless for the reception!
are you going to be wearing a veil? if so, have you decided on a style? this is something i’m battling with now….not sure if i should go chapel length with blusher or not.
Hey, a dress twin! Hooray! Do you have pictures of you in the dress? I haven’t seen any other real brides in our dress! My wedding was June 23…I have a couple of posts in the recap section with non-pro and pro pics so you can see how the whole look turned out. To say that I was thrilled with my dress and whole wedding day look is a complete understatement!! It definitely was my dream dress and I felt so beautiful. To answer your veil question: I had previously purchased a lace-edged cathedral length veil to go with my first dress, and it matched this one perfectly! So that’s what I wore. 🙂 I also wore a corset from What Katie Did (the Baby corset in peach satin) to help accentuate my waist, since this dress has such a great, classic ball gown silhouette. It might seem extreme, but I think the result was great. I will say this: our dress is hot, and not terribly breathable. I got married outside in DC in June, so it was pretty toasty. When I stepped out of the dress that night, you could literally feel the heat emanating from it. 🙂 TOTALLY worth it…that’s what air conditioning is for! (just our ceremony was outside, so I figured I could handle it for all of 20 minutes.)
