This is my F coloured  e-ring with IJ coloured eternity band. I think your diamond will be fine in your halo.

alexisshort :  My center stone is rated G by the IGA (which means it would probably be graded lower by the GIA), and often looks warmer. Even so, I have a hard time getting a picture of the color difference. It does look different in certain lights but nobody notices but me. Most of the time it just looks sparkly 🙂

alexisshort :  My ring posted above is the exact same clarity, cut, and color as yours!  I’m sure it will look beautiful! 🙂  I love your setting!!

I have a K centre in a G/H halo. In some lights I can see the difference (but this is not a bad thing for me – I love the warmth of the centre being emphasized) but in others I cannot, partly because it has medium fluorescence so looks whiter in sunlight, etc.

Here you go sweetie, j color SI1 1.12 3x hca 1.8 ideal aset and idealscope imagines. I had another j 1.17 that I was thinking of. And yes it was pretty warm in the setting. But my 1.12 sparkles like crazy, the table is 55 so light shoots directly up instead of slightly to the sides and every diamond has a slightly faint body color, mines is on the grey side. I have seen a j brown body color. On my Gia cert the diamond became available oct 26 16, Fiance bought it a couple of days ago… wasn’t gonna let that one go! Lol

alexisshort :  I think you will be fine! My center stone is a GIA J color, and the halo diamonds are F-G color. I hardly notice any color difference unless I’m really staring or my ring is in direct sunlight, and I’m not bothered by it at all.

If your diamond is well cut and round, it shouldn’t show too much color anyway.

I have a J center stone with G/H stones in the halo. Some lights I can see a slight difference, but usually they’re all just nice and sparkly =)
