@mayflowerbride13:  Sometimes it takes a few go throughs before you find the perfect look! 🙂  Don’t worry – I’ve been there. I must’ve purchased and returned 7 pairs of shoes before settling on the pair I did!

I think this is an awesome change. And btw- I totally thought you were going to say you changed your dresses. THAT would be way worse than buying new shoes, so IMO you’re in the clear!

I’m only doing a court wedding but going through similar situation! Put down payment on dress, then decided i didn’t want a sheath i wanted a short length. Bought twomore dresses, returned one and decided to keep other for another occasion (it was off white). i ordered another dress that Will be here maybe a week before wedding So might have to stick with it. Also i had these shoes from bhldn that i loved with dress three but not sure I’ll like it with my current dress :-/ ahhh the perksofbeing indecisive.

“Instead of the glam look I had been planning for the ceremony with bold makeup and black sash for my maggie Divina and black shoes and headband to match with my hair up high, I’ll now be going more neutral, sash-less, and nude shoe with statement necklace and bracelet… and my hair natural and down.”

Everything about this statement sounds positively magnificent. Nowadays it’s really popular to just…do too much. This sounds absolutely sublime, and I can’t wait to see your finished look!

Plus new Loubies for the reception? I love the sound of your look even more. 🙂

Don’t feel bad girl.  Something in your gut told you to change your look.

I thought I was bad! I bought a dress at the beginning of this process, then I scrapped it for my dream dress. I didn’t put us in the whole, but it’s about the price of Louboutin’s (not the crazy crystal price either) but any Louboutin is not chump change either I still feel a pang of guilt. It’s just sitting there in the closet.

We all want to look phenomenal on our wedding day…. so sometimes we do bad things. You’re going to look and feel great. It will be captured through the lens, it’s like the icing on the cake of your amazing day. Enjoy those shoes. Who doesn’t love some nude Louboutins?

Omg, I love all of it. That stuff goes SO WELL with your reception dress, I love it. And that dress is awesome for showing off those CLs! I would go with the thinner bracelet. Not only do I just think the other one is a bit OTT, but the thinner one will be easier to keep from snagging on the dress (i think)

@mayflowerbride13:  Fabulous! You are going to make quite the [hot, stylish] statement w/both both of your looks! I also suggest the thinner bracelet for the ceremony, but who knows how they’ll look on?

I really like that you are going with that reception dress, too. It’s something different, a bit daring, and all glamorous.
