Mine is at my mom’s house 8 hours away, otherwise I totally would!

I have a girls night group of 4 girls and we always watch the Bacherlor/Bachelorette together.  We decided that if they telavise Ali and Roberto’s wedding, we’re all putting on our wedding gowns and watching it!

Haha, I did this last week before finally sending it out to be cleaned and stuffed in a box. I felt so girly and silly, but it was fun!

I really don’t blame you, I have been married for a little less than a month and my dress is hanging on the back of my bedroom door – I’ve been tempted to put it on but talked myself out of it! LOL

I haven’t done this yet but I’ve totally thought about it.  I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.  Oh, and I’m with you girls on the over-a-year-and-hasn’t-been-cleaned-yet thing as well except that I don’t have plans to get it done.  Naughty.  🙂

Hmm, never really thought about doing it before today. Maybe I’ll think about doing this now that you all are doing it.  haha.  Sounds like fun!

I was going to get my cleaned until they told me they wanted between $2-400.. I’m so not dishing out that cash right after the wedding, it can wait a year or two!

Did you ever see Victorian era photos of balls with the couples dressed in wedding attire?  I think it was some type of event that they would have periodically and the women would wear their wedding gowns together for a night!  The photos I’ve seen make you think it would have been fun to be there!

I’m not married yet (6 more months!), but I am pretty sure I will end up doing this at some point.

When I was in High School, my grandma bought my senior prom dress for me almost a year in advance (on sale) and I remember I tried it on in my bedroom AT LEAST 6 times before prom. And I didn’t want to have anybody help me into it (b/c I felt silly) so I rigged up a way to zip the back using a wire coat hanger!

I was so silly.

So. Yeah. Probably something I will do.
