I would just get it fixed by a professional. If they ask, which they probably will, just say another hairdresser messed it up and now youre getting it fixed.

I’m sure this won’t be a first for your stylist. I’d just schedule an appointment to get it fixed ASAP. If you don’t want to fess up right away, you don’t have to. Maybe they won’t even ask.

I wouldn’t get your husband to help cut it straighter. What if he messes it up even more? Just use a professional.

Oh no! This post comes at such a bad time since I was seriously considering cutting my own hair this week to save some money. I did it once last year and the next time I had money to spare and went to my stylist I told her what I’d done and she was like, “Yeah, don’t ever do that again.” Obviously my handiwork was not as good as I’d thought! I have done some bad cuts in the past and, since my hair is wavy, I just let it do its natural thing instead of straightening it and that seems to hide any unevenness. So your curling plan doesn’t sound too bad.

Although, if you can afford it, just go to a stylist, fess up and have them fix it. I’m sure they’ve seen it before. If you’re still hesitatant to do that, ask your DH to even if out for you if you trust his abilities.

Just go have it fixed professionally, of you don’t want to fess up totally say you went to Super Cuts or something ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I used to have really long hair and would wear it in 2 braids all the time. I was climbing one day and my braid got sucked into my rappel device and I had to save myself by cutting like 4 inches of my braid off with a knife. So I had to go to my stylist with one side of my head all normal and the other side looking like it got hacked off with a knife… because it did. He was not thrilled with me lol!

I’d go to a stylist and fess up. If you can find a way to laugh at yourself, then you’ll feel much better. We all make mistakes, but it’s okay! It’s just hair, it grows back. Make an appointment, come up with some wild story that clearly isn’t plausible, have a good laugh, and leave looking fabulous ๐Ÿ™‚ I bet if we all put our head’s together, we could come up with something great to tell the stylist…. Got into a fight with a lawnmower…. First date with Edward Scissorhands didn’t go so well…..

I would go to a stylist and get it fixed. They’ll be able to tell that you did it yourself, so just be honest about it and ask them to fix it. In my opinion, asking your husband to chop it is probably just going to make it worse. At least this way, you are giving the stylist as much hair as possible to work with.

Don’t be embarrassed at all! Go to a stylist and have them fix it. Laugh about it and Chalfont it up to a learning experience. I wouldn’t be embarrassed at all lol.

herrera2016 :  I usually just get my husband to fix it because I don’t want to spend the money fixing it.  I did that last week where I cut it myself, and it was a bit uneven so my husband came behind me and cut it straight.

herrera2016 :  I totally feel you about being impulsive with my hair. I’ve been going to the same guy for like 7 years and he is amazing but I have to make an appointment like 6 weeks out and sometimes I just want my hair to be different now! NOW! And that is how bad choices are made!
