Oh honey. I saw the first pic and thought it was okay and then I almost snorted in surprise at the pic of the back. (Sorry, but oh my goodness.) Please don’t just try to wait it out. Please don’t dig yourself in any deeper (w attempt to cut bangs). Please do not get your husband entangled in this mess. Just get thee to a stylist pronto and tell all.

    desertgypsy :  😑😧

Like Supercuts is some awful hair place only poor people go to to get their hair cut and only shitty stylists works at. Thanks.

ana2017 :  yup. And they didn’t tone my blonde properly, so it was orange, and my cut was very noticeably crooked

They also gave my husband a buzzcut that was crooked along the hairline.

saratiara2 :  I’ve been going to Supercuts and Topcuts all my life and never had a bad experience. I’ve litterally only been to a “non budget” hair salon once in my life, paid double what I pay at Topcuts and got the exact same result! The only difference was that the salon looked fancier and the hair washing included about a minute longer scalp massage. That’s all.

ana2017 :  I went to supercuts about a year ago. My normal stylist couldn’t see me for a few more weeks and all I wanted was 3 inches straight across cut off as just a small trim and it sounded easy enough. The girl at supercuts cut almost 8 inches off after showing me an appropriate 3 inch length for my approval. Not only did she cut 5 extra inches off for fun, she left a few pieces the full length sporadically in my hair and cut all of it pretty unevenly. I called my stylist on the phone crying and she came in that day on her day off to fix it but it took MONTHS for my hair to grow back to a length I was happy with.

I’m sure there are some people with fine abilities to cut hair at Supercuts, but after my incident, every time I mentioned what happened to someone, I noticed almost everyone had their own Supercuts story.

So not a big deal! Just go to the salon and be like, “Sooooo, I thought I could cut my own hair, but I definitely can’t. Help!”. This is one of those things you just have to laugh off.

I wouldn’t lie and say it was a different stylist who messed up your hair. Then you’ll just have to expand on the lie and listen to how horrible the stylist thinks they messed up, which will probably just make you feel more embarrassed.

herrera2016 :  Just go to a stylist and tell them what you’d like done. You don’t have to go in and immediately start confessing your styling sins. If they ask though, I’d be honest. I’m not a big fan of fibbing anyway, but why make up excuses and point the finger? You thought you could cut it like you used to, didn’t work out, please fix. Simple.

I promise you, it’s probably not as bad as you think, and stylists have seen much worse. Think about all the botched color jobs that come in that require serious correction. I’m sure your cut just needs some easy fixes and you’ll be good to go.

    hmmmhelp :  wow 😨

Idk man I have a Topcuts near my place and I go in there 4-6 times a year and get a 1 inch trim, layers all over, V at the back and sideswept bangs. No issues. Most of the time I get this one girl but occasuonally if shes off i had it done by 2 others and had the exact same result.
