Sorry, which dress is which? I think they both look really nice!

I don’t know which is the old and which is the new, but that ruffly ballgown almost made me faint. I’ve never seen a dress in that style look so breathtaking, but I am seriously swooning. It is perfect for you.

The other one looks beautiful and elegant and flattering, too, and you really can’t’ go wrong, but ZOMGKNGEOROERHWLKRA that ballgown. O.O

@jbeath1:  Which one makes you feel like a bride? That was the deciding factor for me. I think with a $10,000 budget, you could go for a $700 dress, if you were willing to be frugal on a few other wedding details instead.

I do like the new dress better on you! There’s something about it that just looks younger and I think it really compliments your lovely figure very well.

@jbeath1:  Honestly, they both look really good! I actually like your dress more, if I am being totally honest.

Also, I feel like they are very similar in shape, and the ruching on the bodice and texture/detail of the skirt is somewhat similar. I think if you added a crinoline under the dress you already have, it would make it more puffy and ballgown-y. It might be worth trying before you buy a whole other dress.

I say keep your first dress. I think it flatters your figure better and it’s a more classic and elegant shape, while the ruffles in the new one are a bit much. But that said, you look amazing in both, and they are of similar shapes, so you really can’t go wrong with either.

The dress in the top 2 photos… that one is AMAZING on you! I rarely comment on dress threads, but wow that one is a stunner on you :). Not sure if that’s the new or old dress, but that one gets my vote!

The dress in the top 2 photo’s 100%- LOVE this dress…not a fan of the 3D scattered lace print design on the bottom of the second dress posted, it just doesn’t seem cohesive

I actually think they’re both really pretty dresses, but the new one just seems to flatter you a little better.  I’m on a similar budget and spent about $850 before alterations if that helps at all 😉  Good luck!  Either way, they’re both pretty dresses, but I do think that if you go with the new one, you could sell the other one and get some of the money back!

Go for the new one because u are probably gonna regret it if you dont. I think a 10,000 budget is plenty to still be able to have your dream wedding.
