Your dress and you are beautiful!
I actually had the opposite problem–I ordered the bigger size since I was scared I would be too big for the smaller dress, and then had to do lots of alterations because I lost weight.
What worked for me (and I’m going back to this now because of honeymoon weight gain) was: not drinking alcohol, eating a lot of egg whites, eating fresh fruit and veggies instead of the usual carb-heavy snacks, and working out for an hour at least 5 days/week.
Try tracking what you eat and your workouts at SparkPeople.com, it helped me immensely in the beginning of my weight loss since I actually had to keep track of how many calories I was eating.
I had to combine cardio (at least 20-40 mins/day) with weight/circuit training (Jillian Michaels videos and Exercise TV on Demand), along with a diet that was low-carb, high-protein, and high-fiber to get the results I wanted.
And now my not-so-healthy tips: Occasionally, I’d take Oxy Elite Pro (a diet/weight loss pill available OTC) in the morning if I knew I wasn’t going to be able to work out that day–it helped with appetite control. I also drank a lot of coffee–again, the caffeine helped with keeping my energy up if I was hungry and craving sweets. Make sure to invest in WhiteStrips if you are drinking that much coffee!

Make sure you count calories and really watch portions. It’s easy to think you’re “eating healthy” when really you’re just maintaining your weight. You need to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight.

honestly, 7 lbs is not a lot but you look pretty small and that might end up being a large %. For me, 7lbs is not much percentage wise but it looks like it is for you. I think you should try to make some changes in your diet the healthy way and incrase your exercise. I cannot really give you diet tips since I dont know how your current diet is. I would honestly add a corset back to your dress. You say you stress eat? well trying to fit into a dress that does not currently fit by one of th emost important days of your life screams STRESS EATING! So, do the corset to save yourself from gaining another 7 lbs and then def not fitting into your dress. That way you are not stressed about it and then you are more apt to loose the weight and if for some reason you dont…no biggie 🙂 you look so beautiful btw..congrats and good luck

I vote corset, too. Then you can quit worrying. Plus, a corset back makes the dress super adjustable/comfy no matter what your weight is. In all sincerity, you look AMAZING in the newer pic. You’ll have great hourglass proportions no matter what you weigh on your wedding day.

I don’t know if you have heard of the body magic but if you get one it really does suck you in and you will be able to fit in your dress and whatever else you want to fit in. It is a little stuggle to get on at first but it really is comforable to wear. Here is some sites you can find them at
