Hugs! I’d suggest go take a hot bath, but I hear that’s how you can hard boil an egg, haha, so don’t do that!

*HUGS* to you! Chances are, if you’ve taken a pregnancy test that has come back negative, then you are not pregnant. Coming off of the pill can be very difficult on your body; I went off of mine because I was having complications with it, and I FINALLY got my . today, 2 months late! Don’t worry, your body just needs time to regulate itself!

well I have heard about “Implantation bleeding” which can occur at the onset of pregnancy…so MAYBE that is what is going on, its jsut too early to test as a positive?  I dont know honey, I know how frustrated you are, but try not to stress yourself out, it makes it worse.  (Easiest advice to give, worst to take lol, sorry.)  Have a cup of green tea and take a nap when you can.  You could se your doctor for a blood test just to be sure, those are usually more sensitive.  But your body reacts bizarrely when you come off of BC and it does need time to regulate itself.  This could be some symptoms of that mixed with the start of a cold your body is battling.

Hugs!  I know coming off BC can be very frustrating, especially when you are actively TTC at the same time.  It sounds like it would be pretty hard to tell, at this point, whether you are pregnant or not from symptoms alone.  You said you’ve been charting, though.  Have you been temping as well?  That might give you a little more insight into when you will/have ovulated or if/when you should test again.  Good luck!  I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Have you used mymonthlycycles.com? It helps keep things charted and together.

I moved this to babies for you because you mentioned it – although Wellness wasn’t a bad place for it either ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can’t offer any advice though… you know I haven’t started bc yet to know anything about stopping it – so my only advice then is to give your doctor a call!

I’m charting and I figured out eggwhite cervical mucus with this description- snot like. I know that sounds gross, but that’s how it looks. I didn’t know WHAT it was when I first had it, most times it’s clear. I also googled pictures, gross as that sounds.LOL

Hope that helped! If no one else has chimed in, I’ll add more when I get off work.

if you want to spend the $$ you can take ovulation predictor kits – more peeing on a stick – to get a better sense of when you are ovulating….the only other advice is easier said than done when TTC – try not to over analyze every little thing you feel trying to guess if you are or you aren’t – too many symptoms feel like PMS so you really won’t know until your pee stick test says so!

I can’t comment on coming off birth control because I never stayed on it for more than a few weeks as it has always turned me into a psycho crazy person. As Janna mentioned, I used OPKs when trying to get pregnant. That helped me out a lot. The only downside was the buggers were expensive.

Now, not to get your hopes up, but, I got a really icky cold at the onset of each and every one of my pregnancies. I would wait a couple days and test again. I feel your pain…the waiting sucks.

I would go get the book “Taking Charge of your fertility” and start learning the Sympto-Thermal Method. You’ll need to pick up a Basal Body Thermometer, but the basics are that you temp. will spike with ovulation. This means that if you take your temp every day you’d be able to tell if you have ovulated or not. The “egg white” leads up to ovulation. Also, there are secondary signs like the position of your cervix…

… If you learn these signs you’ll be able to see if you ovulated… Also, when you DO become pregnant, your temp. never drops ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s all in the hormones ๐Ÿ™‚
