Hahaha super funny. I’d think it was hilarious, I wouldn’t care. You can crop her out if you really want to.

I’d laugh.  I wonder if she even knew what was going on, or if she is like, omg there is some weirdo taking pics of me!  I’m glad the couple chose to be amused!  They got some other lovely pics.

Initially I would be massively pissed. But later (way way way later lol) I might find it funny.

I really liked one of the responses to the article

Some old ladies fall and break their hips. Others are pushed.

what a weirdo. if the photographer was blocking your view you could have gotten up and stood in front of her for that 5 min. I would have intentionally gotten up to offer the photographer a better view, but that’s me. a normal person.

in the end though it’s so random that it’s funny.

@LeonardLady:  I think it’s a risk you take when you make private moments public…the public is there and they can do what they want. I wouldn’t want some randoms taking my picture either, let alone have it go viral online. Ugh. I’d hide my face.

I think that is absolutely hilarious, and if some old woman was flipping the bird in our engagement picture it would probably make my day!

I love it!  What a great keepsake and story that goes with it!

I can’t blame the woman, I would be irritated too. I wouldn’t flip off the camera though.

I think the photographer should have chosen a different place to take pictures from, especially since the pictures don’t even capture the moment well. Several commenters on Deadspin (the site I originally saw this on) pointed out better spots for it.

Personally, I don’t like proposals like this, especially when they inconvenience other people. Go ahead and propose, but don’t get in the way of people. It’s rude.

At first I’d be super pissed at the old @%^. After a little time, I’d see the humor in it and just laugh it off. Besides, she can always be photoshopped out. I’m glad her grouchy stupid mug is now all over creation though, haha.

I wish that were my engagement so I could blow it up and frame it.  That picture is AWESOME.
