Ok Bees, here’s my dilemma. I fell in love with this dress that I thought was crazy when the fabulous sales person brought it in to me. I always thought I would go for something simple, but biting the bullet and dealing with the fact that my dress shopping was done after trip #1 I have come to realize that I was totally and utterly wrong! Love love love the dress, but now have the following issues:
1.First and foremost, I’m considering removing the flower and replacing it with some sort of brooch. Any thoughts? There’s a raw edge underneath so it would have to be a fairly large something or another…
2. Secondly, what type of veil? Or just a little feathery piece?? I don’t know where to begin!! Please help
P.S. Clearly this is not me in the photo…if only.

I love your dress, and I like the flower. But if you want to remove it here’s what I’d do:
replace it with a brooch that has pearls and maybe just a few crystals in it (something all crystals might detract from the dress) and then use the flower for your hair. If you do an updo, you can put the flower on one side or toward the back under the updo, and since its the same fabric it would match beautifully. OR have the flower added onto your purse or something – I wouldnt waste the flower….
If It was my dress, (if only I could fit into something like that), I’d do big earrings, no necklace, a big coctail ring that matches the brooch, and a simple cathedral legnth veil without too much embellishment.

@heathere: Thanks for your response! You’re so thorough. I love it! Do you think knee length gray Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses with lace from the waist down would clash? One of my maids tried it on in baby pink but I can’t even find a photo of them online so I’m having a hard time committing without at least seeing them in gray.
