This is my diaper bag. Its more tall than it is wide which Im finding I dont like. I have to dig things out to get the items that have fallen to the bottom. I like the 2 big pockets on the front and I like the unisex (universal) design.
This diaper bag was a gift. Should i trade it in for a style that is more wide or are all diaper bags a “pain in the ass”?
Do you have any suggestions as to what I should have?

My plan is to get one of the Kate Spade diaper bags. I confess I have never actually used one, but they look so damn cool.

Ju-Ju-Be BFF. I’ve used more diaper bags than I could count through my two kids, I always went back to this one. They have classy and gorgeous new prints. It’s pricey but the orginization and quality cannot be beat. My 2yo is potty trained so I don’t need one anymore but I love this one.

Sorry for the typos! It won’t let me edit for some reason.
I also want to add that a diaper bag was always a big splurge for me. It’s something that you carry with you everywhere for a long time. I wanted something super functional but still looked good. These are honestly worth every penny.

I’ve yet to find one i like. I am currently using the skip hop versa and it kinda sucks, too. I just can’t bring myself to buy yet another one (that will be #4) at this point. None of them seem to be big enough or able to easily access all the pockets inside.

We are likely getting the diaper dude. I like that we can both use the same bag!

I had a Timi and Leslie one- I LOVED it- it was more like a purse and hooked right onto my stroller. I would look for a new one- the tall ones are problematic because eveything falls to the bottom.

I second JuJuBe’s BFF! It converts to a backpack which comes in handy when you have your hands full. I also have JuJuBe’s Be Right Back, which is strictly a backpack but more space when I am out all day.

Yes for the Ju-Ju-Be. I went through multiple, including a Kate Spade, and I hated them all until the Ju-Ju-Be.

I bought my daughter this diaper bag @ Macy’s during a sale…she loves it!

I don’t like diaper bags, frankly. I’m not one for fuss.
I’ve got a portable changing thingy (“Pronto”) from SkipHop and I love it because it holds what I need and I can throw it into whatever bag I happen to be carrying (okay, not a clutch, but most of my bags accommodate it fine). The SkipHop is also stupidly expensive and you can get the same deal for much cheaper–and proably a smidge smaller.

We also ended up going with the Ju Ju Be BFF! We don’t have it yet, so I can’t give experience, but it was the perfect compromise between me and my husband. He wanted something that didn’t look girly and that couldbe worn as a backpack. I wanted something that could be worn over the shoulder and had lots of easily accessible organizational pockets. Ju Ju Be BFF hit the sweet spot!

bridesmomma: If I wasn’t childfree this is the kind of diaper bag I would want something that looks like it could just be a regular purse.

I had the Ju-Ju-Be BFF and absolutely loved it! It is so stylish and can hold a lot. I could find everything easily and was always proud to carry it and show it off. I *almost* wish I could have another baby just to be able to use it again. LOL.

I’m still pregnant so can’t say anything from experience but I bought myself a Coach one and can’t wait to use it! i like that it looks more like a purse and can be functional: http://www.coach.com/coach-designer-totes-baby-bag-tote-in-saffiano-leather/26353.html?cgid=women-handbags-baby-bags&dwvar_color=SV%2FBK
