Can you post a before and after? Because I see nothing wrong with the dress… I don’t feel it’s too reveling either, but I understand that concept is different from person to person

Oh sorry, I see you already posted a before pic. I honestly think it looks better now, it’s very flattering, you look amazing.

It does look like the neckline changed when they took it in. It’s still very pretty.

I think they need to do a little more work. The neckline isn’t extremely different but they did make the bust area MORE prominent – not less revealing.

michele22287 :  yes I see it. It’s not flattering where it pushes you in.  I can’t imagine what they were thinking. Can they fix it?

It’s a pretty dress great color with your hair. If you had it done at the store where you bought the dress I would demand they fix it or reorder it.

I see what you mean, bee. Can they change it back? I liked it a lot the first way and in my humble opinion do not think it was too revealing. Also, for what it’s worth, I don’t think the alterations look bad at all–the shape has changed and it seems like that gave you more cleavage, but again–still a beautifully detailed top.

It seems tighter and looks uncomfortable, in addition to no real change in bringing the neckline up. You shouldn’t feel bad about having them make more changes! Like you, I prefer a more modest neckline and I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this.

I don’t think it’s too tight – I think it’s a bit too large! The bust cups are too “rounded”. It’s like they manufactured a bunch of roundness in the bust that created side boob where there was none previously.

I see what you mean.  I would see if they can change it again to more closely match your vision.  it isn’t a disaster by any means, but you have a right to love your dress.

michele22287 :  op, you have loads of time. I got my dress back 2 weeks before my wedding after extensive alterations!

Looks great to me.

I definitely see what you see and needs to be fixed. 12 weeks isn’t cutting it close at all. Breathe…you have plenty of time. I had the bust of my dress taken in  a week before my wedding, picked it up 3 days before my wedding and all was well!
