It’s hard to give advice without knowing what your wedding ring looks like and what the engagement ring you want looks like.

I’d try to find a ring I liked that went well with the band. I really like having the look of 2 rings together so I’d probably wear them together anyway. If I absolutely hated how they looked together, I’d wear the engagement ring on my left hand and the band on my right.

@newbeegirl: I agree with this. It would be a lot easier to determine what you meant if we could see both styles, and suggest ways you could make them work better.

If it was me, I’d just change what I wanted in an engagement ring to something that would go with the other ring – or find some way to make the two designs I liked work together.

I agree with pp, can we see pics so we can give better advice? My rings don’t match but I wear them together and they look fine. I don’t think you have to have a matching set but again I would need to see what exactly your talking about to help.

I generally prefer a bit of a mismatched style, so I agree with pps that pics are needed!

I think this wedding band is mostly stand alone type. I’d wear them separately.

I’d wear wedding band on left and engagement on right because my right ring finger is bigger than my left! So if my wedding band was already made for the left, I couldn’t fit it on the right!

But tbh I’d choose an engagement ring style that looked OK with the wedding band. I don’t mind a gap and like mixed metal though.

Personally I would wear the custom band for every day, and the engagement ring alone or with a thinner band for dress up.

I think now that you’ve gotten us a picture my answer would be one on each hand 🙂 there’s also anniversary rings down the line if you really want to stack still with your e ring and you can still wear your really pretty wedding ring on your other hand too! It really does look unique in an awesome way!

@zuluzee:  I don’t think they would look bad together but will take up a lot of finger space. There’s several bees that have wide bands with their erings and it looks great! If your heart is set on that ring I would get it with a plain 2mm band and like pp said wear it on dressier days and your custom band as a daily ring. Now with that said I personally would want to wear that beautiful engagement ring everyday so I’d just move my wedding band over to right hand 👍🏻

It looks like you won’t have enough finger space to wear both together, so I’d wear the e-ring on the let hand until you marry and then swap it to the right hand and wear the wedding ring on the left (that’s assuming the ring will fit both hands).  Although if you can fit both on one finger, I’d wear them together.

I think they would look good together if you could get the ering in mixed metals too, like just a bit of yellow gold maybe around the bezel or something like that.
