This is my very first post and i would really appreciate some honest feedback – dont worry about hurting my feelings, im tough!!!!!
I went and tried on some wedding dresses a few months ago. Im very much a pear – have no boobs and am bigger in the thighs. I ended up in a dress that i loved on the display but probably isnt suited to my body. Even though i was self conscious about my thighs i still ordered it. It had to be made to measure length because im so short 5’2.
When i had it on, the girl took some pictures on my phone for me.. Ever since, i have been looking and them and have realised it really doesnt look very nice on me. I dont know what i should do. Im on a budget and i dont know if i should stretch it and buy a new dress?
I know that my fiance will think i look beautiful no matter what i wear, and i know the wedding is about our love for each other. I just am worried i will feel self conscious…….
I will try and figure out how to attach the pic thats been worrying me

USE the little green box to put a picture in …. Its on the little bar where you see the smiley face and other options when you are typing the post.

I think you should absolutely LOVE your wedding dress. So whether it be the one already purchased or another, don’t wear something you don’t feel absolutely beautiful in.

Don’t let poor quality pictures trick you into dress regret! Is it in yet? Have you tried it on since?

@Miss-RK: You can’t upload pics directly on the site from an iPad…, I have an iPad and have to upload from my home computer

aw, I think its pretty! No worries! you just need it altered well around the bust to make sure it stays up. Its a very nice dress. I have the same kind of shape. You should be proud of it! You cant change that and the dress is flattering so dont worry!

Thank you…..its just the thighs, especially on the left side of the picture that worry me
Im hoping alterations make a difference but by the time my dress is made, if i do still not like it, i wont have time to get a new one.

when you ordered the dress they took your hip measurements, so the dress will be more fitted for you and your body when it comes in, then it is in the first try on. i think it will look great on you honestly. would adding a sash at the waist make you like it more. sashes at the waist look amazing on lace dresses.
