Do you have a picture of the dress?

I haven’t gone dress shopping yet, but sometimes I think some of the crying, overly-emotional responses — while many are totally true and wonderful — are very much hyped up. If you like the dress and it makes you feel like a bride, then I say keep it and stop looking. I don’t think you have to have the dramatic response to know that it’s your dress. My $.02.

I think the dress is amazing.  It gives you a tiny waist.  But in saying that, I also bought a $99 dress that I liked but didn’t love.  I finally found one I truely loved and bought it after talking it over with my mom and FH.  Both thought I should have the one I loved, the other could be used for some amazing TTD shots and I wouldn’t ruin the one I really loved.

The dress looks great on you.  If you find something you really LOVE then its no big loss, you can sell this one or take the loss.  Being busty, I know how difficult dress shopping can be and I think you look amazing in your dress.  It may grow on you…lol…I’m in a similar situation but for different reasons and my Fiance picked mine, so I just say that I’m getting all pretty for him, so if he likes it then all is good!

Sometimes it’s just a matter of finding a dress that has all the features you like–no overly emotional response required. Your dress has all the key elements you wanted. Do you feel special in your dress? Can you imagine yourself walking down the aisle in it? If you feel pretty in it and can picture yourself wearing it on your wedding day, then it’s the right dress, even if you don’t just LOVE it like you expected or have an outwardly emotional response. Just my opinion! ๐Ÿ™‚

wow – $98??  That’s amazing!!!  Well, this is a gorgeous dress and sounds like you have everything in it that you originally wanted.  Maybe you feel a little guilty you got it at such a great price?

It really does your figure justice … absolutely, and you look amazing in it (but I’m sure you’ve heard it).

I believe that because there are so many options for wedding dresses, some people fall in love with theirs and some people always question it.  I question my decision, but when I look at this dress and am smiling as I look in the mirror, it does give me the satisfaction that I made a good choice.

The day of, you’ll fall in love with it even more, garaunteed.  And ya know what … your Fiance reaction is going to the best the thing ever.

I like my dress too and don’t love it, although I love the way I look in pictures of me in it. I think that there are sooooooooooooooooooo many dresses that it is hard to choose one. I had like a million different dresses that I thought were “the one”. I keep looking at pix of me in the dress and am very happy with it. Maybe try taking bridals and see what you think….

Yeah, I agree with the two previous posters that there are SOOOO many dresses to choose from, and there’s so little difference between some of them, that it can make it harder to be totally decisive, even if you’re usually a very decisive person. And there’s so much hype and expectation built into buying your wedding dress that if you don’t have the expected reaction, it leads to second-guessing even when you shouldn’t.

@kfricke89: I think it’s great that you found a dress with all the things you were looking for and that you feel great in, AND what a deal you got on it!! That’s awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think my final comment would be to make sure you love looking at the pictures of yourself in it. I think that’s the ultimate test. So if you see the pictures and think, “Yeah, that’s it,” that’s a good thing! ๐Ÿ™‚

Love he dress!  Love love love the train.

I think it looks FABULOUS on you, but if you aren’t feeling it then you might want to look around a little bit!  Odds are — you will come back to this one anyway!

P.S. Great deal! ๐Ÿ™‚

@kfricke89: I get overly emotional about most things and thought I’d be an emotional wreck on my wedding day, but was ridiculously calm. Everyone feels differently and not everyone has a “moment” where they tear up or burst into tears or whatever.

That dress looks great on you! The train is stunning, and I am usually not a fan of trains. Also that’s awesome that you got your dress at such a great deal.
