If you’re unsure, always take a test! ๐Ÿ™‚ Just take a cheap one first, and if that’s positive, then buy a FRER. GL.

@BabyBrain:  Believe me, I was the same way. Every time I’d get a negative (we were NTNP at the time), I would be upset for days. You can wait a little while, and I don’t think you get regular cycles on the depo (If I’m correct, I’m not sure, but I guess you know, lol)…but if it continues, I would definitely check just to be safe.

Can I ask – why are you on depo, when you obviously want to become pregnant?

A brown intermittant spotting is common on depo, some women still get regular bleeds. Because it is progesterone based it thins your endometrial lining – hence this irregular ‘bleeding’

ohh I understand completely!!

and our hormones are funny things, it msy be that your own hormones are fluctuating with wedding planning etc and increasing tge amount of progesterone in your body – causing you to spot. Dont worry about it, if you are up to date with your cervical smears then spotting on depo is nothing to worry about. ๐Ÿ™‚

@BabyBrain:  The stress of the wedding could cause break through bleeding. If you are thinking there is a possibility you could be pregnant, I would buy a dollar store cheapie and test. Since you aren’t actually trying yet, the negative should be a good thing since you have your wedding coming up, gotta fit in that dress. If you think of it that way it will be easier on you. GL

I’m on a different kind of BC but sometimes have break through bleeding a week before my withdrawl bleeding is supposed to start. It’s pretty normal…although annoying. Just focus on the wedding plans right now and try to distract yourself from the baby-crazies. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@BabyBrain:  when I first went on depo I had spotting like that for like 6 months. So you probably aren’t but if it will ease your mind you should just go ahead and test!
