I think you look stunning! It really doesnt need alterations, but since we are out own worst critics, if you feel top heavy maybe try making the skirt fuller?

kenobee :  Agree with PP about the fuller skirt and you looking stunning. I think your arms look strong yet feminine.

I would love to know what you’re talking about because your arms look fabulous – as does the rest of you! That dress is stunning and perfect for you. You look soft – like a woman – but you have a teeny waist and your arms are completely proportional. They’re not cut, but honestly, that’d look weird anyway. All I see is a beautiful woman in a fabulous dress.

First of all, there’s nothing wrong with your body. You look great.

But it is true that the top of that dress isn’t flattering. You have rounded bones, which means no matter how slim you are your arms are always going to have a rounded shape to them. I am the same way. The lines of this dress aren’t suited to our body type. Because you have rounded lines you will look better in a dress that also has rounded or softer lines.

For example, a sweetheart neckline would look really good on you. Those super sharp angular lines tend to clash and look a bit awkward. They tend to suit people with more sharp, straight and angular bone structures.

The dress itself is nice and the bottom looks perfect. The top just needs a more rounded or softer neckline. If you can’t change the dress perhaps you could get a little bit of lace added around the edges of the neckline? Just something to soften those harsh edges a little bit.

ArcadiaRose :  Your entitled to your opinion, but I have to disagree. I think the dress looks so lovely on OP. Not just saying that.

Looks beautiful on you! I don’t think you look top heavy and I like the V neck. I wouldn’t make it poofier, I’m also 5’1″ and the big ball gown shape didn’t suit me either. Keep it as is and only get a jacket if you think you’ll be cold! Don’t cover up 😉 you look great.

You look gorgeous in that dress! So classy and elegant, and really compliments your enviable curves.

If you’re still self-conscious about the arms, maybe modifying the dress by adding some lacy, sheer, or opague sleeves would help?

Wtf are rounded bones??????

OP, you look gorgeous. You just need the right undergarments.

I think you look amazing! So feminine and elegant.

We are 1000% our own worst critics! I had major major dress regret a few months before my wedding to the point where I was trying to sell my dress to buy a new one. I am so thankful and so happy I didn’t because on the day of my wedding, I never felt more beautiful. And I STILL, almost 8 years later, get comments about how I looked on my wedding day.

Take a deep breath and know your body looks killer in the gown and you’re going to look incredible on your wedding day!

I would love to have a great bra size 😉 to pull off that gorgeous v neck. You look stunning! I think you are just over thinking it. I had a little bit of dress regret too, but I was just fitted into my dress recently, and all the negative feelings went away. I’m sure yours will, too. 🙂
