If you don’t like way your arms look, adding a sparkly cap sleeve or an off the shoulder can make a huge difference. Definitely don’t cover it all up with a jacket. Show off that dress!

I don’t think your arms look chunky – just strong.  If you work out or do a physical job, you are not going to have stick thin arms, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a woman having a strong body – the idea of waif-like fairy princesses being the only standard of beauty should have got thrown out two centuries ago!

If you feel uncomfortable about having your arms out, then maybe look at buying a shrug/shoulder cape or similar – that way, you don’t have to wear it if you feel more confident on the day.  But you are going to be the ONLY one worrying about your arms – other people will just think what a great figure you have!

Your arms look fabulous to me, but if you’re self conscious, how about a cape? They make long and short ones, and you could have a lot of fun with one!

Your upper arms are lovely and you look like a dream in your dress.  You honestly have nothing at all to worry about.  I think skinny, gangly arms can look unattractive when exposed.  Yours are perfect.  Show ’em off!

I don’t think your arms look big at all!! I think that there could be a bit of an optical illusion going on though- since the sides of the dress are sheer, and your arms are down, it can look like one cohesive line if that makes sense? Like no separation, since the side of the dress isn’t white!

Can you try it on again with no bra? I’m a 34G and sometimes feel like dresses look a bit better without a bra because my boobs aren’t lifted as much if that makes sense.

I think you look great! I love that dress. I’ve never seen a bride with a dress quite that style.

And as someone who is 5’0″ you don’t look short at all in that dress. It definitely makes you look taller.

verycoolpeaches :  Your arms look almost exactly like mine did before I started lifting heavy weights. You look gorgeous in the dress and I don’t think you should even consider changing it, but (maybe because I share a similar shape/arm insecurity 😆), I can see what you mean about looking top-heavy. If it’s something you want to change, you have plenty of time to do so before November. Lifting heavy weights completely transformed the look of my upper body. I don’t look like I have muscles but my arms slimmed down and are ever so slightly defined. If you don’t have access to weights right now, you can still achieve results with body weight exercises — just be careful to do lots of research on proper form!

But you’ll look beautiful with or without extra exercise come November.
