Yes, I totally feel you on that!! I am the type that injuries myself frequently, and manages to bump into things all the time. Amazingly, I haven’t managed to break any bones yet!!

Maybe I should invent a bubble suit for people like us πŸ™‚

Oh no!!!! I hope you feel better soon!!!

My klutz story from a couple weeks ago: Darling Husband spilled nail polish remover on the chair I normally sit on when I’m using our printer (don’t get me started…) so we can’t use that chair until it gets refinished. Well instead of swapping that chair out for another, I would just squat beside the table with my laptop up on the table hooked up to the printer. It’s a pretty tight space, and I have a terrible sense of balance most of the time. So there I am, squatting and printing, and I lose my balance. I fall backwards, but my laptop starts falling too (I think my flailing arms caught the printer cable), so instead of breaking my fall, I use my hands to push the laptop back up on the table, and fall straight backwards into our baseboard heater. Thankfully it wasn’t on, but I hit the corner and ended up with a HUGE purple, red, and green bruise on my back (which totally grossed out my 5 year old stepson, so you know it’s gotta be gross!). Yep. I’m an idiot.

I had one: Two years ago I went to Canada for a semester abroad, the cold weather inflamed my sinus and affected my balance (I knew this cause I went to the doctor asking what was going on and she explained), in the 5 months I spent there I fell down the stairs at least 8 times (I stopped counting after the 7th).

@Coffee cup: Perfect!! I’m blaming my klutziness on being Canadian from now on! LOL!

@bakerella: Lol, well it’s the coldest place I’ve visited so I never experienced something like that before, but I have sinusitis so everytime I get a cold there’s a chance I’ll be falling around a lot.

In the span of 1 month, I did the following things to my left middle finger:

1) Slam in a door so hard that a huge black mark appeared under my nail

2) Slice deep while cutting an english muffin, the top of my nail was sliced off and I sliced into my skin just deep enough to bleed profusely, but not enought to need stitches. I still have no feeling on the tip of the finger

3) To add insult to injury, I randomly got a splinter on that finger a few days later. Don’t ask me how, I live in the city so this is a total mystery to me!

@hermitcrab: Omg it was SO gross. And what was worse was that it was exactly where my purse rests againsts my side/back, so it hurt like the dickens to carry my purse, and even just walking around hurt the first few days!!! It took two weeks for it to finally heal up and it was every colour under the rainbow in those two weeks!!! It was SO gross!

Aww that sucks so much!! I am really clumsy as well, so I completely understand. I hope some good luck comes your way πŸ™‚
