Lock those lips, baby! It's 2013 and it's nothin' new.

Look at that camera and flash those pearly whites...it looks mucho better.

Ain't no thang but a chicken wang! Whatever floats yer boat.

    Neither. Game over. Try again.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a tasteful kissing photo, however I prefer the second one because it shows both your pretty faces and seems more inviting!

@sarahdearest:  I think they both look great! and the kissing photo is definitely tasteful. I wouldn’t worry about it!

I agree! They’re both super cute, and while I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a kissing picture, I think I like the second one more because you can see your faces 🙂

Uhh, even for the most conservative people, getting married = sex, so why is a kiss so bad? It isn’t like a steamy snog, it is just a kiss.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with the kiss, but I think the second photo is better and feels happier! Your family may not have seen you recently (and may not have met your FI) a picture of the two of you smiling is a nice picture to send out, one that they can hang on the fridge or in their house if they choose to.

i agree with pp’s – the second photo is much more welcoming – it’s like you’re actually saying hello to your guests! the kissing photo is cute, but can you put it on a wedding website or something? you just can’t see your faces – it could be anyone’s kissing photo.

Super cute pictures!  I’d be thrilled to receive either one.

I posted a similar conundrum (mom couldn’t deal with it) and was surprised by how many posters thought kissing was yucky.  There definitely is a diversity of opinion!  Here’s the thread.

I prefer the second one with you both smiling. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the kissing one, but if there are people out there who would find that type of thing off-putting, better to use the safe one.

    (Make this a poll)

also–you are totally right with wondering who the heck would be bothered by kissing! Seems so silly! They are both really awesome pictures, but I agree with pp’s that the second option is so much more welcoming and showcases you as a couple!!! I can see how it would be hard to choose!!

It’s not too bad – I don’t like the ones that are just huge faces kissing, but you guys are pretty small in that picture and the background is cool.

Is there a giant creature looking at me from inside the heart, though?!?

I agree with a lot of people on here, the kissing picture is okay but the second picture makes a cuter save the date.

Like others, I like the second picture just because I can see you.

Honestly, the first picture is a bit busy… I had to “find” you. For that fact alone, I’d go with the second picture.
