Fiance and I know where we’re getting married, have a couple of options for the reception, and have a date picked out. Where we’re getting married booking things 6 months in advance is plenty of time. I bought my dress a week or so ago and it’ll take 8 month to come in. Other than buying my dress, I really haven’t done anything.
I compiled a draft of a guest list and I look at inspiration for centerpieces, bouqets, etc. I’ve got a decent outline of a budget.
November 24th, we’ll officially be ten months out. What else should I be doing at this point?

I know the feeling, hang in there, you’ll pull it together somehow. I feel like all the things I’ve done are just baby steps and there’s so much more to do.

Wow at 10 months out I hadnt done ANYTHING. I really didnt start the majority of the planning until about 8 months out. We were engaged for 4 months before even deciding where we were going to get married. I knew the colors that I wanted and the overall feel but I really didnt know WHAT I wanted. Then at 8 months out we chose our venue. Once we chose our venue I started to look into other major vendors – photographer, DJ, florist, bakery. Then as we chose those things I also would look on weddingbee for details that I could purchase and/or make and also started to save photos for inspiration for centerpieces, etc. We didnt choose bridesmaid dresses until 6 months before and they didnt get ordered until 4 months before. I made our guestbook about 3 months out and made our programs starting about 2-3 months out. Other things like veil, jewelry, hair flower, shoes, under garments, bridesmaids/groomsmen gifts, Out of Town bags, table linens I did as I went along whenever I found something. I did a hotel block about 4 months out. We sent Save-The-Date Cards at 7 months out and invitations at 10 weeks out. I think you are at a fine place – I really wouldnt stress or worry right now!
