Bees, I’m really stressed out right now. It feels like everything is crashing down all at once.
Friday my dog got sick and had to have an emergency surgery, which costed over $1000 that we had to take out of the wedding fund.
Saturday night, my store burned down. Yes, literally caught fire (and yes I was there) and burned down. The inside is completely gutted and they’re saying it wont be reopened. Its a corporate store, so theres other stores in the district to be sent to. They chose to send me to one of the furthest away and the DM KNOWS I dont drive. I dont even know where the store is or how I’m supposed to get there. I’m going to ask him if I can be sent to a closer store, but if not then I’ll probably have to find another job.
It feels like all this is just happening all at once and I’m completely stressed out and I just want to break down and throw a tantrum like a 5 year old.

When it rains, it pours. Keep your chin up and say your prayers, and it’ll all work out the way it’s supposed to. Go over your budget and decide what’s ABSOLUTELY necessary. We all want the most magical wedding ever, but the next day it’s over and you won’t have anything but a hangover and photos as proof. See if you can save on food or flowers. Sending hugs from OK.

@allyfally: I posted last week that everything seemed to be going wrong. I really wanted to throw my hands up.
I hope your dog is ok. I know how stressful it can be when pets get sick. And I’m sorry to hear about your job.
When I find wedding stuff to be getting to me, I stop. Magically, it’s always there when I’m ready to return. lol But I go watch tv, read, call a friend, talk to Fiance, clean…and stay off WB! 🙂 Just anything to get my mind off stress that could get overwhelming at times.
We currently have issues with family, money, work, BM’s, ex wife, stuff with the house that we are trying to get repaired…all plus the wedding deciding, which everytime I turn around, I hit a “no”. Or I don’t get a response. Or I have to decide something without all the information I need. Or choosing which is next in order of importance. I get it!! Big hug!

@Coral99: Its not wedding stuff thats making me stressed though. Its just, how can we possibly still have the money for the wedding after all this? If I have to find a new job, that’ll be lost money. We’re already short $1000 from the surgery (and yes, he’s doing great now.) Fiance is also talking about maybe needing to find a new job.

@allyfally: I am currently not working and trying to find a job. This is has added considerable stress. I really do understand that it’s hard. For me, it’s not the wedding planning stuff per se, but it becomes hard on top of everything else. It’s like I have to choose small crap when I’m trying to find a job. Or we have to decide where our Rehearsal Dinner is and the money to use toward that on top of the dumb drama FI’s ex wife throws our way.
Just know the rain has to stop one day. 🙂
