The last few days he’s been feeling pretty crumby but at least he hasn’t had to work until today. I feel sooo bad for him because he gets anxious driving somewhere he doesn’t know when he has to drive there by himself (and it’s even worse when he has to drive somewhere where there could be rush traffic and it is near the city).
So, as you can expect he made himself all worked up last night between feeling pretty awful and being anxious to drive out there (being n time, not getting lost etc–and he doesn’t like gps). Anyways, he didn’t sleep well at all last night. Every time I would roll over he was out of bed, pacing the room or going to the bathroom and he was constantly coughing and sighing. On top of all of this, he had to work 9.5 hours in training and has to drive home tonight at like six or seven. Annnd back to work tomorrow! I really hope he feels better tonight. It breaks my heart when he’s so anxious.

My husband is going through the same thing right now..sort of. He’s in over his head with work. Working from 7:30-7;30 every night and he’s a builder so he’s beat by the end of the day. Then he comes home and there’s phone calls to be made to clients, etc.. it never ends for him.
I’m waiting for him to get out of the shower so we can talk about him delegating work to me and letting me handle a lot more than I have been for him (I only work part time and I’ve been trying to be his secretary too). He’s a perfectionist/control freak about his work which is good and obviously bad too in some aspects. It’s good because he’s really earned a great reputation because of that and that’s why he has so much work right now during times where most contractors are scrounging for work, but it’s bad because he takes on too many tasks and it creates stress. He really has a hard time delegating, he’s driving himself crazy and I’m trying to help him but he’s stubborn.

@SweetRose2011: awww Im sorry to hear that dear, I hope he feels muchly better however. I get really nervous actually driving to new places (ask my SO, I always write out directions and then follow them religiously). Im sure he arrived safe and sound though and that he feels better about it now?

make him a hotty totty. hot water, lemon juice, a shot of whiskey and some honey. will calm his nerves and he’ll sleep like a log.
